Hammers are a type of Weapon in The Surge 2. Hammers are heavy and slow but provide the wielder with powerful, high impact attacks. They can be found inside chests, cut with fatal blows from enemies arms or dropped by Bosses.

The fact that there are cutting implements and cudgels in this category, makes the name "Hammers" a bit of a misnomer if you ask me.
Some hammers actually have different "lighter" moveset: for instance, S&R Falcon has a spin-to-win follow-up after running attack instead of a normal slow strike, which than can be chained into another spin making it a lot faster and damaging then regular hammer moveset. Same thing also applies to Experiment 44H 'Dark Star' and Spark Engineer's Multitool.
