Warren is not the protagonist in The Surge 2 . The protagonist is a player created character that will make use of Weapons, Armor and Implants to take down Enemies, and harvest their mech limbs to recover armour pieces for his own use.

*In a recent interview, it was confirmed by Deck 13 that Warren is no longer the protagonist of The Surge 2. But he may still have a role to play given the confirmed time frame.
