MG Cerberus Set is a Set in The Surge 2. MG Cerberus Set is composed of 6 different Gear parts that provide additional bonuses when equipped together. MG Cerberus Set provides a Partial Bonus with 3 pieces equipped that grants: "Increases defense while 3 or more batteries are filled, and increases defense more while 5 or more batteries are filled", and provides a Full Bonus with 6 pieces equipped that grants: "Increases damage while 3 or more batteries are filled, and increases damage more while 5 or more batteries are filled".
A paramilitary gear set that MG calls "the ultimate in anti-personnel combat gear". Highly durable with multiple layers of ablative composites, Cerberus gear can absorb some serious punishment.

Where to find MG Cerberus Set
MG Cerberus Set parts must be crafted individually. You need to find enemies that are using the piece of Gear you want and cut off that limb in order to acquire the schematics. You can learn more in crafting.

Anybody know what the ACTUAL defense and atk buffs are when at 3 batteries and 5 batteries respectively? like 10% increase? 20% ? or what?
A few notes on this set. For one this set is very similar to the DLC URBN set. The main difference is this one has better overall stat resistances of the cost of 4 more stamina compared to URBN. The other thing is that lore wise it's very odd that this set is mass produced when in the surge 1 it was: "This set of Cerberus gear has been customized with experimental components, authorized only for use by the ranking Security Chief." Regardless glad to see it at least made it into the game in the end.
I defeated Eli with the URBN set at MK X....at that time i still didn't have any MG Cerberus piece in my inventory
I crafted the entire Set in NG+ and it's so cool
Just try to equip the Code Name: Valkyrie with this set....it matches perfectly

You get a boost of 5% defense bonus if energy is between 24 and 48 points. If it’s more than that then you get a 20% boost.

This is my favourite set. At upgrade X you can pretty much tank the final boss.
The toughest build I have made so far uses three pieces of this set and three pieces of the SCARAB set because both sets' 3-piece bonuses stack.
