Codename: Gotterdammerung is one of the Heavy-Duty Weapons in The Surge 2. Codename: Gotterdammerung deals 92 raw damage and has 24 impact. It provides 105% attack speed, +80% energy gain and consumes 140% stamina.
An experimental prototype that projects a large nanite-control field along its length, the Gotterdammerung is part of a CREO initiative to create the ultimate next-generation multi-tool. This prototype's attuned nano-matter can be programmed to act as a rigid cutting edge or a high-frequency saw, but the classified R&D schematics indicate that future iterations were planned to do so much more.

This weapon fell so far from grace in the second game. It was obtained very late in first installment, had very high scaling and raw stats, and most importantly... it looked incredible, it had constantly shifting nanites all along the blade. This was my favorite weapon by far in the first game. Everything looked better in 1, despite being the first game it even has HDR support for extra slap visuals. 2 does not (for whatever half assed reason) support HDR.

MK X damage is 459 now with the December update. Why was it nerfed, it needs more not less.

I am seriously disappointed that one of the best looking weapons from The Surge 1 is now looking as gerneric looking as can be! Even though I am not a player that uses many other weapon classes outside from Twin-Rigged and (now) Punching-Gloves ... if a weapon looks really great I am generally happy to try it out. In The Surge 2 did away with the proficiency scaling and to find the ... Codename: Götterdämmerung - out of all weapons - to be stripped of her design ENTIRELY was a BIG letdown for me. Hope that is still considered "constructive feedback" - LOL! XD
I found that it has a special effect, where applying the nanite effect on an enemy would cause a small nanite shockwave to launch out, similar to the shockwaves launched by the full set bonus of the RHINO armor.
