Firebug Throttle is one of the Punching Gloves Weapons in The Surge 2. Firebug Throttle deals 95 raw damage, 29 fire damage and has 16 impact. It provides 95% attack speed, +40% energy gain and consumes 95% stamina. Weapons can be found from Enemies and/or Bosses, and can be found inside Chests.
The still-functional throttle engines of the LU-74 unit "Firebug", previously of the CREO HQ. Despite the best efforts of the CREO engineers leading LU-74's construction, they were never able to pinpoint a precise cause of the larger-than-normal flames.
Where to find Firebug Throttle
- Firebug Throttle can be obtained by finishing the A.I.D. Command part of The Witness quest, either by unlocking the door to general's field office then talk to the Stranger(Warren) inside, or providing him the A.I.D. Data Disc obtained from the console inside general's field office(if you haven't provide him full A.I.D. armor set in previous step).
Notes and Tips
- You can only onbtain it by giving the Stranger the A.I.D. Data Disc before Patch 2.
- It's the only Punching Gloves that has slightly different moveset(without DLC).

Found him outside the office, already had the key, he walked in, got the data and that was it, no reward.
The quest is currently bugged regarding getting this weapon.

Funny thing...i cant get the Drive since Warren took it himself....
They killed one of the coolest weapons from the first game by making it a pair of "punching gloves" and giving it a skewed moveset. One of my biggest complaints with an otherwise really great game.
