This weapon is heavily influenced by Japanese master craftmanship, but imbued with new high-tech materials and enhanced energy channels. The ultimate precision of a katana combined with the durability of composite materials serve as the basis for a true masterpiece
Where to find JAG-22 'Aeterna'
- JAG-22 'Aeterna' can be obtained by cutting off the right arm of Captain Cervantes, at Guideon's Rock.
- It can also be obtained by cutting off A.I.D Ronin squad member's right arm (Not the one at Canal Back Alleys, he's wielding Infected 'Aeterna' instead).

i didnt cut off his arm. i just focused on his head to kill him quick. still got the weapon in my inventory

This weapon can be obtained by cutting off the right arm of Captain Cervantes.
VIDEO from a youtuber named "BlueLizardJello" confirm the theory of no need to cut off the arm of Captain Cervantes for getting the weapon, instead you can cut off his left leg and get his drone module shotgun.
the video is the PART 14 at 49:30min. when is attacked (Ambushed) by 2 Member of Ronin Squad and he cut of a part we totally saw its "normal" Aeterna and not the "infected" by nanite. wielded by both of them. unfortunately once you kill one of them, the other disapear, so save your game before this event.
LOCATIONS: All Saints BLVD at the exact same location of the 3rd ECHO of nano who give you Metamorphing Talons on the beginning of the game. its located on the destroyed bridge. Exact opposite of the 1st gates guarded by A.I.D Forces.
Its like a cross between "Riverside Street", "All Saints BLVD" and "Welder Block". the Bridge destroyed is at the beginning of the stairs of welder block.
so i will have to try by myself when i will be here (i'm at Cervantes now) and had to do a lot of research to find out which one to cut to obtain everything.
also its safer to backsaving your save file for fight Cervantes and the 1st ever Ambush of RONIN SQUAD. not sure other member of the squad can have this weapon after you go more forward on story
