PROTEUS Set is a Set in The Surge 2. PROTEUS Set is composed of 6 different Gear parts that provide additional bonuses when equipped together. PROTEUS Set provides a Partial Bonus with 3 pieces equipped that grants: " While health is low, regenerate health", and provides a Full Bonus with 6 pieces equipped that grants: "Increases the health restored by healing injectables".
A classified set of gear developed by the CREO Restricted Projects laboratory, with an innovative design meant to act as an external life-support system.

Where to find PROTEUS Set
PROTEUS Set parts must be crafted individually. You need to find enemies that are using the piece of Gear you want and cut off that limb in order to acquire the schematics. You can learn more in crafting.

This armor was pretty solid in the first game but as with a lot of the equipment in 2 it's trash now. It's problem in 1 was that it's hp regen was abysmally slow but if you were in a pinch you could go grab a drink or something and give it a few minutes to heal back to full hp. Now it's regen only works at low hp, the problem is that at low hp this late in the game a single attack is likely to kill you and you already have medi voltaic from the start of the game so it's just absolutely worthless now.
