Garden Variety is a Quest in The Surge 2. Garden Variety can be acquired from GardenCraft VT-16 at Gideon's Rock. Quests can be obtained throughout the game by some events or various NPCs.
The gardening bot at C.I.T is in dire need of flower seeds for his little sanctuary. If you find all five, friendship might bloom between the two of you.
Garden Variety Information
- Conditions:
- Talk to GardenCraft VT-16 at Gideon's Rock. Tell him that you will help him plant the seeds. You'll need to find 5x Lost Seed that are scatered around Gideon's Rock.
- One can be found near GardenCraft VT-16
- One can be found at the Cougar Trailhead, inside a cave near the entrance
- One can be found at the Cougar Trailhead, in the area that has 2x One-handed Hunters and 1x Shielded Gaia dropped on the ground.
- One can be found at the Mustang Hills, after the repeller area. Turn right and you'll reach the rooftop of Gideon's Overlook. Explore the area to the left to find it.
- One can be found at Boar Wild Trailhead next to the extendable bridge heading to Mustang Hills.
- Once you have all the seeds, plant them in the pots located at the CREO Garden where you find GardenCraft VT-16. You'll obtain 2x Pile of Metal Scrap, 2x Small Pile of Metal Scrap and 1x Large Pile of Metal Scrap for planting the seeds. After all the seed are planted, talk to GardenCraft VT-16, and he will reward you with SERU Biomaster.
- Talk to GardenCraft VT-16 at Gideon's Rock. Tell him that you will help him plant the seeds. You'll need to find 5x Lost Seed that are scatered around Gideon's Rock.

- Or you can just kill him and cut off his right arm to get the SERU Biomaster without activate this quest. You can still plant those seeds and get the metal scrap reward.
AnonymousI found and planted the seeds, but for whatever reason the quest isn't finished. Did the game mess up?

Quest is bugged for me, and a lot of other people, from what I've googled. I got all 5 seeds but I'm pretty sure one didn't get into my inventory for some reason, so I couldn't plant them all. checked all 5 spots again to be certain. wound up just killing the robot instead, but it was sad :(
