Nitro | The Surge 2 Wiki


Nitro is a Boss in The Surge 2. Bosses are special Enemies that feature their own arena, a large and prominent health bar, and a variety of unique moves and abilities.

  • Has no hardcore kill method and, consequently, drops no V2.0 weapon.

 

Nitro Strategies 

Strategy Writeup

Nitro is the first boss fight you encounter . He's armored all over except for his head, so that's where you should target. Nitro uses an Equalizer, dishing out slow but damaging attacks. Try to back off while he's attacking, then take advantage of his recovery period to land a few hits. In case you die, remember to come back through the door you opened earlier to avoid most of the enemies. As you do not have yet have the Exo-Rig at this point, you cannot dodge, run or jump while fighting him.

Alternatively, you could parry all his attacks and counter him to death.  This is much faster, but also more difficult, as the player does not yet have access to the Directional Block Analyzer.

Attacks & Counters

Attack Counter
Three-Hit-Combo Keep your distance, wait for him to finish his third strike and then go in to attack.
Vertical Keep your distance, wait for him to finish his attack, and then go in to attack.
Vertical slam (mainly used for counterattack) Nitro will use this attack mainly after you've wailed on him a bit.  As with his other attacks, back off and wait for him to finish, and then go back to hitting him.
